Smart911 is a FREE and secure service program provided by both Lake County 911 and Porter County 911 Centers, enhancing the ability to respond to emergencies.

Residents can go to www.smart911.com (or download the app) and create a safety profile.  This profile contains as much, or as little, information as you wish to provide to help the dispatchers send help.  The information is kept strictly private and is only used if you call 911.
